Our first paper is available on-line
The cooperation within the project finally lead to publishing a first paper in a very good scientific journal Palaeogeography, Palaeoclimatology. There we presented the climate influence on the Lake Atnsjøen and its catchment during the last Millennium.
The SEM pictures of Cladocera remains from Lake Atnsjøen were recently published in AIOL
At the very end of year 2016 the paper „Exploring the world of micro sculptures - subfossil Cladocera remains under the SEM” was published where, among others, are pictures of remains from Lake Atnsjøen.
Project results will be presented on the climate conference in Warsaw
The 2nd Scientific Conference “Climate change in the geological past” which will be held on November 24-25, 2015 at Polish Geological Institute – National Research Institute in Warsaw. The project results will be presented at the poster, abstract will be published in conference materials. Both abstract and poster are posted on the project website in the section Results.
Second project meeting
Second project meeting took place on 7-10.09.2015 in Wierzba, Poland. The main aim was to discuss the project results and to plan the future work. During the meeting we agreed upon the final version of the first scientific paper that will be about the climate impact on the Lake Atnsjøen during the last Millennium. We also started to work on the next article that will be about human impact on the Lake Atnsjøen and its catchment.
The first presentation of the results of the project on the conference
We formulated first conclusion about climate impact on the Lake Atnsjøen during the last Millennium. For the first time results were presented on the conference “Climate variability and human impacts in Central and Eastern Europe during the last two millennia” in Gdańsk. The presentation from the conference is available on the project website, in the section Results.
